Who writes our content

Guides and news articles are published under the byline Niva Market Watch Editorial, the people who run the site. We use a site byline rather than invented author profiles: we do not claim credentials such as CA, CFA or SEBI registration, and no content on the site should be read as professional investment advice.

Three kinds of content

• Guides (under Learn) explain processes and terms, based on SEBI regulations, exchange rules and offer-document conventions as we understand them at the time of writing. They were drafted with the help of AI writing tools. Each guide shows its publication and last-updated dates; when we learn that a rule it describes has changed, we update it and its date.
• News articles report on specific issues or market events using official announcements and our own data.
• Automated summaries — the weekly roundups and the summaries on the homepage and IPO pages — are generated by software from our database with no human rewriting. They are labelled as automated, describe only stored facts and omit anything missing.

Standards

• We prefer primary sources: offer documents, SEBI, the exchanges and registrars.
• We do not recommend applying for, buying or selling any security, and we do not publish ratings, scores or price targets.
• Grey market premium is always identified as unofficial.
• Advertising and affiliate links are labelled and kept separate from guides and data.
• Fully automated content (weekly reviews and page summaries) is labelled as automated. Content drafted with AI assistance is disclosed here.
