Corrections policy

We want the data and writing on Niva Market Watch to be accurate. When something is wrong we would rather hear about it and fix it than leave it in place.

How to report an error

Email jaypatel2157@gmail.com with “Correction” in the subject line and include:

• the page URL;
• the text or value that is wrong, and what you believe is correct;
• a link to your source.

How we verify a correction

A report is checked against the most authoritative source available, in this order: the company's offer document (RHP/prospectus) or basis-of-allotment notice; exchange circulars and issue pages; the registrar's announcements; and only then secondary compilations. We do not change a figure on the strength of another aggregator alone if it conflicts with a primary document.

Where an error came from an automated source, we also try to find the cause — for example a source changing its layout — so that the next update does not reintroduce it.

Timing

Reports about IPOs that are open or about to list are looked at first. We cannot promise a fixed turnaround, and we will not change data we cannot verify.

How corrections are shown

• Data fields (dates, prices, figures) are updated in place and the page's “last updated” time changes.
• Guides and articles show an updated date; where a correction changes the meaning of what we said, we add a short note describing it.

What is not a correction

A difference between the grey market premium we recorded and a quote seen elsewhere is not an error — GMP varies by dealer and by time. We also cannot correct data about individual applications, which we do not hold.
